Getting Started With An Existing Project

Check out the Lure project source code from the source code repository to your local file system. You can do this in one of two ways:

  1. Check out the Lure project source code from within Lure Stage using a plugin for your version control software (for example using Subclipse):
    • The Lure project will be restored automatically.
  2. Check out the Lure project source code with an external version control client:
    • Create a new Lure Project within Lure Stage. Uncheck the “Use default location” checkbox and select the folder were the project source code was checked out.

If you want to use your own database environment for development you will need to add your own connect file to the project folder. Easiest way to do this is to copy (and paste) and existing connect file. Then use the Configuration Editor to configure the new connection details.

You are now ready to go. You can now start synchronizing between your database and your local project files by using the Lure Import and Export commands.
